In our Pre-K 3 classroom, we turn "Why?" into "Let’s find out!" This is the year your child transitions from a toddler to a preschooler. Our Pre-K 3 program focuses on the "Whole Child," ensuring they are socially confident and academically curious:

  • Social Mastery: Three-year-olds are learning the art of the "Big Kid" friendship. We focus on conflict resolution, taking turns, and following multi-step directions.

  • Potty Training Mastery: Our Pre-K 3 students are generally potty trained, and our classrooms are designed to support their continued independence in the restroom.

  • Qualified Educators: Our teachers stay current with at least 30 hours of annual training in early childhood education and are all CPR/First Aid certified.

🎨 A Day in the Life: Intentional Discovery

A Pre-K 3 day at Lil Leopards is a mix of high-energy movement and focused "Center Time":

  • STEAM Stations: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math come to life through experiments, building projects, and creative masterpieces.

  • Circle Time: A daily meeting where we build community, talk about the weather/calendar, and practice public speaking in a safe, fun way.

  • Outdoor Recess: Our preschoolers head outside twice daily to master the playground and build the gross motor skills they need for healthy growth.

  • Healthy Fuel: As always, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included to keep those busy brains fueled for a full day of successes!

  • Yes, we generally require children to be potty trained for our Pre-K 3 classrooms. We understand that "accidents" happen, and our teachers handle them with kindness and discretion, but the student should be able to communicate their needs and handle basic restroom tasks independently.

  • The Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) is a fantastic new program that provides financial assistance (up to $10,500) for eligible families to choose the best educational setting for their child. Since Lil Leopards is a participating provider, many families use these funds to cover tuition for our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 programs!

  • We love it! At age three, curiosity is at an all-time high. Instead of just giving answers, our teachers ask, "What do you think?" or "How can we test that?" This builds critical thinking skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

  • Yes! We use a research-based curriculum that combines CLI Engage and Frog Street that aligns with Texas Pre-K Guidelines. It ensures that while your child is playing, they are also hitting the specific academic and developmental markers required for a successful transition to Kindergarten.

  • We love our Lil Leopards families! We have an Open Door policy for tours and scheduled observations. We also have various events throughout the year (like "Muffins with Moms" or "Donuts with Dads") where you can dive into the fun with your child.
